Fedorov (Ukrainian Minister of Defense)

Mykhailo Fedorov is a Ukrainian politician and businessman who took office as Minister of Defence of Ukraine on 14 January 2026. Born in 1991, he is among the younger figures to hold a senior defence portfolio in any major European nation currently engaged in active conflict.

As Ukraine’s defence minister during a war that has become the world’s most active laboratory for drone warfare and autonomous systems, Fedorov holds direct authority over procurement decisions, battlefield technology adoption, and the strategic direction of a military that has deployed these tools at scale.
