Serhiy Prytula

Serhiy Prytula built a public profile in Ukraine as a television presenter and actor before the 2022 Russian invasion redirected his energy toward military fundraising. He established the Prytula Charity Foundation, which has since channelled significant public donations toward equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among its most prominent campaigns was People’s Bayraktar, which raised funds to procure Baykar Bayraktar TB2 drones and a reconnaissance satellite.

The Prytula Foundation operates a drone training facility where interceptor drone operators receive instruction, placing it at the intersection of civilian fundraising and frontline autonomous systems development. His organisation represents the emerging role of civil-society actors in scaling Ukraine’s unmanned aerial capabilities.
