Iris

Iris is the battlefield-AI platform from Rebellion Defense . It applies machine learning to multi-domain data to recognise and track targets, run predictive analytics on how a situation may develop, and support adaptive mission planning — including automated pairing of available assets to objectives — while sharing command-and-control information in real time. It is the product behind the company’s recent run of US Navy automated-target-recognition contracts, including a 2025 expansion.

Iris sits in the same targeting-and-decision lane as Palantir ’s Maven Smart System: both turn sensor data into actionable target tracks for a commander. Rebellion was an early Project Maven contributor, and Iris is the descendant of that work, though Palantir ultimately became the Pentagon’s prime for the Maven Smart System while Rebellion narrowed its focus to specific Navy programmes.
