What the Lancet is made of
107 documented parts and 115 photos, from recovered wreckage and the reporting on it. Each part gives its marking, maker and country where known, and links the record it comes from. The system itself: Lancet.

Open questions
What has not been published about the Lancet, and where the available evidence points: measurements from published photos, the physics, the parts its relatives carry, and the trade in the parts themselves. An indication is not a confirmation. Each one shows how it was reached; last reviewed 2026-10-23.
Also not yet established
- Camera of the Lancet: what type is it, and who makes it? — A photo or teardown record of the camera showing a marking, a maker's label or a model name.
- Warhead control unit of the Lancet: what type is it, and who makes it? — A photo or teardown record of the warhead control unit showing a marking, a maker's label or a model name.
- Radio modem of the Lancet: what type is it, and who makes it? — A photo or teardown record of the radio modem showing a marking, a maker's label or a model name.
- Radio modem antenna of the Lancet: what type is it, and who makes it? — A photo or teardown record of the radio modem antenna showing a marking, a maker's label or a model name.
- Engine of the Lancet: what type is it, and who makes it? — A photo or teardown record of the engine showing a marking, a maker's label or a model name.
- Gasoline engine: does recovered wreckage of the Lancet show it? — A teardown record from HUR or another official body listing it, or a photo of it in recovered wreckage.
What it runs
Firmware, navigation and link software reported for the Lancet and the modules it carries, each with its source.
IRRA (ИРРА) intelligent guidance and target recognition system
ZALA-promoted onboard recognition and guidance system credited in 2026 Russian MoD/ZALA footage with identifying camouflaged and moving targets; claims not independently verified
Telegram channel, Russian side:source ↗
Automatic target recognition (Lancet-E export)
ZALA says export munitions can engage on operator command or via onboard computer-vision recognition algorithms
Izdeliye-53 target-type discrimination (Russian claim)
ISW reported in October 2023, citing Russian sources, that the Izdeliye-53 version in use from 21 October had an automatic guidance system able to tell target types apart and was being tested for synchronised swarm attacks.
Jetson-based autonomous guidance elements (HUR)
HUR said in March 2026 that the Lancet is operator-guided in real time but that Russia is trying to add autonomous targeting elements, including modules built on Nvidia Jetson. CSIS reports that Ukrainian specialists doubted a claimed autonomous terminal phase against a Magura V7 sea drone, and links the operator-named "Ira" feature to ZALA's civilian IRRA software.
Optical photo-matching terrain navigation
Ukrainian Serhii Beskrestnov says the enemy already runs a system on the Lancet that orientates the drone by comparing preloaded ground photos with the camera feed, making it resistant to electronic warfare.

Part records and photos: HUR War & Sanctions, Ukraine's Defence Intelligence database of foreign components found in Russian weapons, and the other sources named on each part. A marking, date code or country is given as the source records it.
