All three Novorossiysk grain terminals suspended after 12 August drone strike

Published · updated

Following the 12 August Ukrainian UAV attack, all three grain export terminals at Novorossiysk halted operations. The KSK terminal — the largest deep-water grain terminal in Russia’s Black Sea region, responsible for roughly 41% of the port’s grain exports and 7.37 million tonnes in 2025 — announced a full suspension of truck and rail offloading, ship loading, and all related activity, citing worker and infrastructure safety. Two additional terminals also paused, collectively cutting off a major share of Russian Black Sea grain logistics.
