Turkey supplied Ukraine with Korkut 25mm SHORAD for field evaluation — report

Published 8 October 2026

Russian sources citing Middle East Eye report that Aselsan transferred an undisclosed number of Korkut 25mm short-range air-defence systems to Ukraine for field trials in early 2026. The reference to 25mm ATOM 25 airburst ammunition points to either the Korkut 100/25 on a Nurol Ejder 4×4 wheeled platform or the trailer-mounted Korkut 120/25; both claim approximately 1 km UAV engagement range. The quantity is not disclosed.
