Airwolf weapon load detailed: M134 minigun, Hellfire, Stinger and APKWS II on NASCAR-derived chassis

Published · updated

A Russian defence channel provides additional detail on the Airwolf counter-drone vehicle shown at AUSA 2026. The RCR 6WAP six-wheeled platform originates from the defence manufacturing division of NASCAR team Richard Childress Racing. Weapon stations include an M134 minigun for small drones, an AGM-114 Hellfire for larger UAVs, two FIM-92 Stinger launchers for cruise missiles and high-altitude targets, and APKWS II guided-rocket modules for intermediate-tier threats — a mixed load designed to service the full Group 1–5 spectrum from a single mobile platform.
