Ghost Shark UUV can carry up to 24 Altius 600 UAVs or support covert SOF operations

Additional reporting clarifies Ghost Shark’s full payload menu: up to 24 Altius 600 UAVs (approximately 160 km range in strike configuration, 375 km in reconnaissance variant), up to 12 sea mines, and special cargo containers for covert special-operations delivery. Future adaptations under consideration include light and heavy torpedoes and carriage of additional autonomous underwater vehicles. Australia has committed approximately $1.12 billion USD for an initial fleet; torpedo and some other capability variants remain under development.
