WARMAX

Ukrainian maker of antenna amplifiers, fiber-optic drone control links and counter-drone electronic-warfare systems.

WARMAX is a Kyiv-based Ukrainian defence-technology manufacturer, founded in 2024 and led by Serhiy Zlakazov, that builds hardware for the radio-frequency edge of the drone fight: antenna amplifiers, fiber-optic control links, secure communications modules, and counter-drone electronic-warfare systems. Its catalogue includes the WARMAX Booster, a multi-band antenna amplifier covering the 2.4, 5.2 and 5.8 GHz bands to extend an FPV drone’s control and video link, and two counter-UAS jamming systems, the Oberig Pro and Arkan Pro.

The company sits in the supplier layer of Ukraine’s wartime drone industry, supplying components and electronic-warfare equipment rather than complete airframes. Fiber-optic control — a thin glass tether that carries the pilot’s commands and the drone’s video without any radio emission — has become a central response to the heavy jamming on both sides of the front, and WARMAX is one of several Ukrainian firms producing the links and amplifiers around it. Its work overlaps with the broader push for jam-resistant control that runs through Ukraine’s defence-innovation cluster, Brave1 .
