Unwave

Unwave is a Kyiv-based Ukrainian electronic-warfare company founded in 2023 that designs and manufactures portable jammers, RF detectors and control software for countering drones. Its hardware is soldier- and vehicle-portable: the Patelnya backpack jammer for dismounted infantry, the Boombox multi-channel trench amplifier, and the Shatro single-channel amplifier mounted on boats, MRAPs and robotic platforms. Its Pastka software ties the catalogue together, automatically detecting radio and drone threats, locating the control channel and activating jammers, with a Bashur detection module feeding it.

The firm sits inside Ukraine’s dense FPV-era counter-drone industry, with systems reported in service under state contracts; Boombox and Shatro are described as its most-ordered lines. Company representatives have described moving production toward local Ukrainian sourcing and away from Chinese components. In mid-2026 Unwave said it had become the first Ukrainian electronic-warfare maker to demonstrate its hardware abroad, testing Boombox and Patelnya for Czech security services near Prague against DJI Mavic, Autel and FPV drones, and it has begun expanding beyond jamming into a strike line.
