Ukrspetsconsalting

Kyiv firm making the VERES family of compact directional electronic-warfare stations against drones.

Ukrspetsconsalting, which trades as “USC,” is a Kyiv-registered Ukrainian company that came to public prominence in 2025 as the maker of the VERES family of electronic-warfare stations. Its flagship, Veres-2, is a compact directional system — roughly 20 kg on a tripod with a rotary patch antenna — built to defeat commercial “drop-drones” such as the DJI Mavic and Autel quadcopters by suppressing their control links and satellite navigation across five frequency bands, with guaranteed jamming out to about 1.5 km on roughly an hour of battery.

Veres-2 entered front-line service in August 2025, with deliveries reported to several Ukrainian brigades and combat use noted on the Zaporizhzhia and Pokrovsk fronts; Ukrainian defence press reported several dozen in service and noted that the system was codified onto the General Staff procurement whitelist. A complementary Veres-1 targets FPV drones that use ExpressLRS and TBS Crossfire control links, and the company also lists other special-purpose hardware.

The firm is a relatively recent entrant to electronic warfare, having pivoted into the field as FPV and drop-drone threats came to dominate the contact line. It works in the same compact, man-portable jamming niche as Kvertus , competing on price, weight and rapid adaptation to shifting enemy frequencies. Founding details, ownership beyond the registered director, and production scale are not publicly verified.
