UGVR Machinery

UGVR Machinery is a Kyiv-based developer of unmanned ground vehicles, known for its flagship UNEX UGV — an amphibious, all-terrain robotic platform. The vehicle is a fully electric design built on a unique wheeled chassis with ultra-low-pressure tyres and a patented pneumatic suspension, letting it move seamlessly across water, swamps, mud, sand, rough terrain and even climb directly from open water onto ice. The company describes the work as a Czech-Ukrainian effort, with the platform manufactured in both Ukraine and the Czech Republic .

The UNEX is offered in modular configurations — combat module, electronic-warfare suite, logistics, casualty evacuation and demining. One of its more notable traits is that its weight distribution and wide tyres exert less ground pressure than an infantry soldier’s footstep, which the maker says allows it to cross terrain seeded with anti-vehicle mines without triggering them. The platform carries a programmable autopilot and is built to operate under electronic-warfare conditions.

In April 2025 the UNEX UGV was among more than seventy ground robotic platforms put through Ukraine’s largest UGV field trial, coordinated by the defence-tech cluster Brave1 . Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence subsequently codified and approved the system for use across the Defence Forces, formalising its place in the field — part of a wider wave of Ukrainian ground robots reaching the front alongside tracked-platform makers such as Tencore and Frontline .
