U&C UAS

Czech-based maker of the Stork LR / Leleka-LR long-endurance reconnaissance UAV and the MACE strike drone, founded by the owners of Ukraine's DeViRo.

U&C UAS is a Czech-registered drone manufacturer founded in July 2022 by the co-owners of the Ukrainian company DeViRo , the firm behind the widely used Leleka reconnaissance drone. Its flagship product is the Stork LR — also marketed as the Leleka-LR — a long-endurance fixed-wing ISR aircraft derived from DeViRo’s Leleka line. The company also produces the MACE strike drone (linked to DeViRo’s Bulava loitering munition), offered in armour-penetrating, fragmentation and thermobaric variants.

The company was set up to manufacture and export systems from outside Ukraine, where wartime export restrictions limit direct foreign sales. Production runs from a facility in Kolín, Czech Republic, while the designs draw on DeViRo’s front-line combat experience and testing in Ukraine. The Stork LR is reported to carry a takeoff weight of about 14 kg, an endurance of up to five hours and a communication range of up to 135 km, with encrypted digital links intended to keep working in jamming-heavy environments; a larger Stork 1000 has also been shown.

U&C UAS has supplied Stork LR systems to Ukrainian forces and, in partnership with U.S. government contractor ATP Gov, has signed a contract to provide reconnaissance drones to U.S. Army units in Europe following battlefield-condition evaluations. The company has separately announced a deal to supply drones to an Indian aerospace partner, with the prospect of technology transfer and joint production.
