Swarmly

Swarmly is a Cyprus-registered aerospace company, headquartered in Limassol and founded in 2018, that builds the Poseidon line of electric vertical-take-off-and-landing (VTOL) reconnaissance drones. Its flagship H10 Poseidon, and the larger H6, are pitched as portable, runway-independent systems for surveillance and artillery fire correction: the company cites an operational range of roughly 150 km, a low acoustic signature, a small radar cross-section, minimal thermal signature, and the ability to keep flying in GNSS-denied conditions where satellite navigation is jammed.

The Poseidon has been used by Ukrainian forces since the summer of 2022, when early systems were delivered to artillery and reconnaissance units, partly funded through Ukrainian volunteer foundations. Swarmly says more than 200 of its H10 drones have flown for Ukrainian artillery batteries, accumulating well over 100,000 flight hours. In January 2025 Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence codified the Poseidon for use by the Defence Forces, clearing it for frontline deployment; reporting at the time noted an arrangement under which components supplied by Swarmly and its partners would allow the drones to be assembled inside Ukraine.

The company also markets uncrewed surface vessels and has shown larger variants of the platform at European defence exhibitions. In January 2026 the Cyprus National Guard took delivery of its own H10 Poseidon units, the same battle-proven design fielded in Ukraine. Swarmly’s products sit in the same Ukrainian reconnaissance-drone segment tracked through Brave1 , the state defence-tech cluster that coordinates much of Ukraine’s UAV procurement.
