SkyFall

SkyFall is a Ukrainian defence-technology company that develops and manufactures unmanned aerial systems for frontline use. Its best-known product is the Vampire, a heavy multirotor bomber that Russian forces nicknamed “Baba Yaga” and that the company describes as one of the most effective bomber systems on the front in 2025. SkyFall also builds the Shrike family of FPV strike drones, popular with Ukrainian operators, and the P1-SUN, an interceptor equipped with onboard artificial intelligence and built to hunt fixed-wing reconnaissance drones and Shahed-type one-way attack munitions.

The company runs an integrated operation spanning an R&D centre, production lines, and the SkyFall Academy for operator training. CEO Mykola Makovieiev has said SkyFall interceptors have neutralised more than 10,000 Russian drones in combat. In June 2026 the firm signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus Defence and Space at the ILA Berlin air show, framed as a step toward a multi-layered air-defence shield over Ukrainian and European airspace. SkyFall sits among the wave of wartime Ukrainian drone makers — alongside firms such as Wild Hornets — that have moved from improvised production to internationally exhibited systems.
