SkyCraft Systems

SkyCraft Systems is a Ukrainian manufacturer of military first-person-view (FPV) drones built for units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer initiatives, with the full production cycle carried out inside Ukraine and a team spanning radio engineers, software developers and aerospace engineers. Sales are wholesale, from batches of a hundred units and starting around $300 per airframe.

Its catalogue centres on a family of strike platforms sized by frame diameter. The 10-inch SkyCraft RMD 10 carries up to roughly 3 kg of payload to a control range of about 20 km, cruising near 50 km/h with a top speed above 110 km/h; it is positioned for assault and reconnaissance-strike work, pairing high-torque motors with a 3-watt video transmitter and relay support to push control beyond the reach of standard FPV sets. The 8-inch RMD 8 is a lighter, shorter-range sibling, and the heavier 15-inch RDM-15 lifts up to about 7 kg. For jamming-contested zones SkyCraft builds a fibre-optic FPV variant tethered by a single-mode optical cable of more than twenty kilometres, which carries no radio signal to intercept or suppress, plus a “Sky Air” airborne signal repeater and ground relay to stretch the radio-controlled drones’ range.

Several of SkyCraft’s strike drones have been listed on Ukraine’s Brave1 Market — the state-backed catalogue through which units can order directly using their own funds — fitted with a neural-network guidance module from ZIR System that locks onto a target and continues the attack after the operator’s link is lost, including under active electronic warfare. The company also offers customisation, integration and support services for Ukrainian defence units.
