Skyassist

Skyassist is a Kharkiv-based Ukrainian developer of reconnaissance unmanned systems whose first product is the Sirko, a small fixed-wing UAV built for operational-tactical reconnaissance and artillery fire correction. The aircraft has a 0.9-metre wingspan, weighs around 1.5 kg, runs on a low-noise electric motor and is constructed mostly from radio-transparent polymers to make it harder to spot on radar. The company reports a route range of up to about 100 km and the ability to stream video roughly 25 km from the operator, with the option to operate in radio silence for passive observation. A single aircraft has been quoted at around $3,000, positioning it as a cheap, replaceable alternative to repurposed commercial quadcopters at the front.

The company put Sirko into serial production and has stated a target of 800 to 1,000 units a month, later citing higher figures for the longer-range Sirko 2. Ukraine’s defence ministry has cleared the type for military use, though early procurement was driven largely by volunteer organisations rather than central state purchasing. Alongside the airframes, Skyassist makes its own UAV control hardware, including the Teya 5.8 wide-angle patch antenna, which it fits to the Sirko family and also sells as a standalone module for other unmanned systems.

Sirko sits in the same fixed-wing tactical-ISR niche as offerings from other Ukrainian manufacturers such as DeViRo and Skyeton , part of a wider wartime push to field large numbers of domestically built reconnaissance aircraft.
