Sky Spy

Ukrainian-founded maker of a drone-mounted AI signals-intelligence payload that geolocates enemy radio emitters.

Sky Spy makes SkyAgent 001, a drone-mounted artificial-intelligence signals-intelligence payload that geolocates hostile radio emitters. Weighing around 500 grams, the payload turns a small uncrewed aircraft into a “spectrum hunter”: it detects, classifies and geolocates radios, drone ground-control links, and electronic-warfare jammers in real time, runs the full signal-processing pipeline onboard rather than relying on external computing, and pairs the radio picture with the drone’s camera for visual confirmation — designed to keep working in jamming and GPS-denied conditions.

The company was founded by Ukrainian entrepreneur Arsenii Hurtavtsov and built by a Ukrainian-origin team; it describes itself as American-Estonian, with operations across the United States and Europe. SkyAgent 001 was tested by active military units on the front line in Ukraine and, in 2026, completed an airborne signals-intelligence test during a French military exercise. In late 2025 Sky Spy raised a $1.6 million oversubscribed pre-seed round to scale production. Its work sits alongside other Ukrainian signals-intelligence and electronic-warfare firms such as Falcons and Tactical Technology , part of an ecosystem supported through the Brave1 cluster.
