Reactive Drone

A Dnipro-based Ukrainian maker of heavy "Baba Yaga"-class Kazhan bomber multirotors, originally an agricultural-drone manufacturer.

Reactive Drone is a Ukrainian unmanned-systems maker based in Dnipro that has built and supplied UAVs for military and civilian work since 2019. The company began in agricultural drones — spraying platforms sold at home and abroad — before reorienting toward military production after Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. Its best-known line today is the Kazhan (“Bat”) series of heavy bomber multicopters, including the four-rotor E620 and six-rotor E630.

The Kazhan multirotors belong to the class of large Ukrainian night-bombing copters that Russian troops nickname “Baba Yaga.” Per the company, the platform carries up to roughly 20 kg, flies for 40-50 minutes and operates out to about a 25 km combat range, and can be configured as a bomber, an FPV mothership or a logistics carrier. Artem Kolesnyk, described as the company’s chief technology officer, has discussed the Kazhan’s use in nightly payload missions and a modernized communications architecture combining dual-band radio, Starlink and LTE links. Reactive Drone also makes the compact Shmavik reconnaissance drone and runs a pilot-training program.

The firm sits among the heavy-multirotor specialists in Ukraine’s wartime drone sector, distinct from the smaller FPV-strike makers such as Wild Hornets .
