Proximus LLC

Kyiv RF-hardware and electronic-warfare firm best known for the Bukovel-AD counter-drone detector and jammer.

Proximus LLC is a Kyiv-based radio-frequency hardware and wireless-systems firm founded in 2001, and is unrelated to the Belgian telecom group of the same name. Rooted in commercial telecom and systems integration — RF receivers, antenna arrays, tactical radios and “network-in-a-box” kits — it has become one of Ukraine’s established electronic-warfare suppliers. Its best-known product is the Bukovel-AD counter-UAS system, which detects unmanned aircraft at long range and jams both the drone-to-operator control link and satellite navigation across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou, deploying from a vehicle or tripod in roughly two minutes.

The Bukovel-AD has been fielded by Ukrainian forces in the east against Russian reconnaissance drones such as the Orlan-10 and ZALA 421-16, and the system has also been reported as an export item, with deliveries cited to Morocco and Egypt — placing Proximus among the earliest Ukrainian counter-UAS exporters. Beyond Bukovel-AD, the company markets the Prometheus-MF5 jammer, the portable Ekran-R and PJS-100, a channel-selective 5G jammer, and the WS-500 counter-AIS maritime system, alongside a line of tactical-communications hardware.

The firm predates the full-scale war by two decades, which distinguishes it from the cottage-scale EW workshops that proliferated after 2022. It works in the same counter-drone hardware space as jamming specialists such as Kvertus and the signals firm Himera , but its longer pedigree and broader RF-component catalogue place it nearer the integrator end of Ukraine’s electronic-warfare industry.
