Motor-G

Ukrainian maker of brushless electric drone motors, shipping around 200,000 units a month — the country's largest motor manufacturer.

Motor-G is a Ukrainian manufacturer of brushless (BLDC) electric motors for drones. The company offers a range of motors for FPV and fixed-wing platforms — including the 3110, 3115 and 2820 — alongside the VANDAL, a higher-output motor built for interceptor drones in the 3-5 kg class. In testing, a drone fitted with the VANDAL has been clocked at speeds above 350 km/h.

The company says the idea took shape in 2023, after the full-scale Russian invasion, and moved into mass production around the end of 2024. By early 2026 it was shipping roughly 200,000 motors a month to more than a hundred Ukrainian drone builders, a volume that makes it the largest motor maker in the country by a wide margin. Motor-G reports reaching about 80% localization, manufacturing most components in Ukraine while still importing parts it cannot yet source domestically; it has said the stators for the VANDAL motor would be fully localized from May 2026.

Drone-motor supply has become a strategic concern in Ukraine, where most components have historically been imported from China. Motors are among the parts the country’s defence-technology effort — coordinated in part through the state cluster Brave1 — has pushed to produce at home, and Motor-G is one of several firms scaling up domestic output.
