MixSteel
Ukrainian developer of the PARASOL trench and vehicle anti-FPV electronic-warfare systems.
MixSteel is a Ukrainian electronic-warfare manufacturer and member of the Brave1 defence-technology cluster, known almost entirely for its PARASOL family of compact anti-FPV jammers. The system was presented publicly in May 2024 by Ukraine’s minister of digital transformation, signalling early state backing.
PARASOL exists in three modifications: the 01 protects a fixed position or trench, the 02 mounts on a vehicle and draws from its onboard power, and the 03 is a universal variant that works both statically and on a moving vehicle. All target the FPV-drone threat at roughly 200 metres, and the developer emphasises ease of use — operators can reportedly be trained in ten to fifteen minutes — and low detectability to enemy electronic warfare. PARASOL 03 was codified to NATO standards in November 2025.
The Ukrainian state has signed procurement contracts with MixSteel for the PARASOL variants, which are in active front-line use, placing the firm among the small workshops supplying short-range counter-FPV jammers alongside Kvertus . Public information on the company beyond its product line is thin: no verified headquarters, founder, or founding year could be confirmed, which is common for small Ukrainian electronic-warfare shops operating discreetly.
