FT Systems

FT Systems is a Ukrainian manufacturer of electronics for unmanned systems, with in-house R&D and what it describes as a full production cycle. Its catalogue spans the parts that make up an FPV drone: flight controllers and stacks, electronic speed controllers, battery packs, ELRS control receivers, FPV video transmitters and video-link antennas, video receivers, motors, frames, cameras, and monitors. Among its video transmitters is a high-power 5W analog unit with active cooling and SmartAudio support, aimed at holding a picture over long ranges and in noisy radio environments.

The company sits in the layer of Ukraine’s drone industry that is trying to replace imported — largely Chinese — FPV components with domestically designed and built parts, a shift that accelerated as front-line units came to depend on cheap first-person-view drones. That role places it alongside other domestic component makers and the autonomy houses such as NORDA Dynamics that build on locally sourced hardware.
