Falcons

Kyiv defence-tech startup building the Eter signals-intelligence direction-finding system and the D1L interceptor drone.

Falcons is a Kyiv defence-tech startup, founded in 2022, that builds signals-intelligence and electronic-warfare equipment alongside a low-cost interceptor drone. Its Eter system is a modular direction-finding complex that uses networked sensors and correlation-interferometric techniques to detect and geolocate radio-emitting devices — enemy communications, relays, jammers, electronic-warfare assets and UAVs — and is designed to keep working in jamming or frequency-hopping conditions. Its D1L interceptor, nicknamed the “Duck,” is a cheap, mass-producible drone for counter-drone air defence against reconnaissance UAVs and Shahed-type threats.

Eter is reported to be in frontline service with Ukrainian forces, and the company says it has helped destroy a Russian electronic-warfare system. In 2025 Falcons secured investment from the US fund Green Flag Ventures to scale toward NATO markets. Its sensing-and-detection work sits alongside other Ukrainian electronic-warfare and signals-intelligence firms such as Tactical Technology and Sky Spy , with much of this ecosystem supported through the Brave1 cluster.
