Degree-Trans LLC
A Kyiv-based Ukrainian defence-tech firm whose Bullet high-speed fixed-wing interceptor is the basis of a joint venture with US-listed AIRO Group.
Degree-Trans LLC is a Ukrainian defence-technology company, based in Kyiv, that develops the Bullet, a high-speed fixed-wing interceptor drone aimed primarily at Shahed-type one-way attack drones. Resembling a miniature jet, the Bullet is reported to reach speeds of up to 450 km/h with a range of around 200 km and a payload between 2.5 and 9 kg, and is marketed for interception, strike, reconnaissance and hybrid missions against airborne, ground and naval targets, in autonomous or piloted modes. It is rail- or catapult-launched within seconds and needs no runway. The firm, which previously serviced and sold parts for ground transport vehicles, reoriented toward drone manufacturing during the war; its Bullet programme is led by director Viacheslav Lvovych.
The Bullet was displayed at the Enforce Tac 2026 exhibition in Nuremberg, where it was shown in a more conservative configuration — range up to 150 km, a 5 kg payload, a 5,500 m ceiling and launch preparation under seven minutes — sharing booth space with the Czech firm Archon Firearms, though Degree-Trans and Archon are not jointly developing the drone. The company describes the system as still under development and testing, with an eye toward scalable production.
In October 2025, AIRO Group Holdings — a US aerospace and autonomy company listed on the Nasdaq as AIRO — and Degree-Trans, operating under the Bullet brand, signed a letter of intent to form a 50/50 joint venture to manufacture and field interceptor drones for the United States, NATO members and Ukraine, with production planned in both countries. The arrangement pairs Ukrainian combat experience with US-based production and defence infrastructure, and is one of a growing set of transatlantic tie-ups built around Ukraine’s high-speed interceptor designs. Other Ukrainian firms working the same anti-Shahed niche include Wild Hornets and Fire Point , with many systems reaching front-line units through the Brave1 defence-tech cluster.
