Contra Drone

Contra Drone is a Kyiv-based Ukrainian manufacturer of counter-drone equipment, operating under Fly-Group Ukraine. Its line spans signal detectors, mast-mounted electronic-warfare jammers and, most recently, a detection radar — a spread that reflects how Ukraine’s air-defence problem has split between spotting threats and defeating them. The company says the bulk of its components are produced in Ukraine.

Its detection layer centres on the CD-T10, an X-band radar unveiled in early 2026. According to Euromaidan Press, it detects targets ranging from FPV drones to Shahed-style loitering munitions and guided aerial bombs out to 15 km and up to 3 km altitude, and uses AI to separate genuine threats from clutter such as birds by analysing a contact’s size, speed and flight pattern. The company has described feeding that track data to mobile fire groups so crews can pick a countermeasure, and has said larger deliveries are planned for late 2026. Alongside the radar, the SENSE-3 and SENSE-4 detectors listen for drone control and video signals — the SENSE-4 covering four bands up to 8.2 GHz, a range associated with a growing share of Russian drones.

On the jamming side, Contra Drone builds the Anti-Mavic, a telescopic-mast electronic-warfare system that The Defense Post reports can collapse to 1.65 m for transport and extend to 5 m in the field for rapid deployment at frontline positions and critical infrastructure, plus the multi-band Boombox jammer and a family of anti-FPV emitters. The firm sits among the many Ukrainian counter-UAS suppliers that have emerged during the war alongside detection and interceptor efforts tracked under programmes like Brave1 .
