ComBat Vision

Builds a NATO-standard C4ISR situational-awareness and command system that fuses UAS, UGV and sensor feeds onto a shared tactical map.

ComBat Vision is a Kyiv-based Ukrainian company that builds a NATO-standard C4ISR situational-awareness and command-and-control system. The project traces back to 2012, when Yevhen Maksymenko and a group of volunteers began building battlefield-coordination software that could work even without infrastructure or an internet connection; the tactical management system was publicly introduced in 2015 and first proven in the fighting in eastern Ukraine. After the 2022 full-scale invasion the team rebuilt it into a fourth generation, “ComBat 4.”

The system fuses feeds from surveillance cameras, drones, rangefinders, radio and sound detectors onto a shared tactical map for headquarters, weapon-control systems and infantry, and overlays the common operating picture onto ground-station maps and vehicle video in augmented reality. It is built on NATO data standards — among them the JC3IEDM data model and MIL-STD-2525 symbology — and follows the STANAG 4677 information-exchange principles, with an emphasis on holding up over slow or unstable communications. It can pull together the picture from other Ukrainian systems including Delta, Kropyva and Alpine Quest, draw minefields and jamming zones, and pass waypoints to drones using optical navigation when satellite signal is lost.

In early 2026 the company released a kit to retrofit its situational-awareness software onto uncrewed ground vehicles, including the Ratel and TenCore platforms. Its software has been adopted across dozens of Special Operations Forces units, and in August 2025 the firm opened free trial access to a limited civilian version for volunteers and medevac crews near the front. It sits in the same command-and-control and intelligence-fusion space as Griselda and the geospatial firm Farsight Vision .
